   Retirement Benefits

Portland State offers a comprehensive retirement plan to all benefits-eligible employees through The Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). In addition, unclassified benefits-eligible employees may choose from PERS or The Optional Retirement Plan (ORP). The Choices: Retirement Decision-Making Guide is a resource available to help unclassified benefits-eligible employees make the decision about their retirement plan.

We have resources available to those employees approaching or considering retirement. In addition to the materials listed below, you can always schedule an appointment with one of the Benefits Managers to discuss the options available to you.
